I'm recovering from foot surgery and have to use crutches so it's very difficult to get food without spilling it. I ordered this jar to carry hot coffee and tea from the kitchen to my work place, which requires me to carry the jar in my shoulder bag while walking back to work on crutches. This glass does not flow at all. It can fall on its side and not spill a drop. I also like the metal straw and the straw cleaning brush. Both make it easy to sip hot beverages from a glass and those beverages stay hot for a very long time. Mine stayed almost as hot as it did when I made it for over 8 hours. It's the perfect container for sipping hot beverages on the go. When I stop using crutches, I can take them to my favorite coffee shop for coffee and carry them around all day in a container that doesn't add single-use plastic waste to our environment.
