Review on ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Black WeatherTech 448151 FloorLiner for Enhanced Protection by Craig Galante

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but high quality Auto Floor/Cargo Liners Product

I have been purchasing WeatherTech floor and cargo liners for over 10 years. These include cars (SUVs) from GM, Jeep, and Ford. In each case, the products fit well, cover legroom with a good height (or "margin"), are very durable (stiff), and wash easily with car wash soap solutions clean. The liner material itself is a flexible (semi-rigid) polymer with a generally hard surface that is dent (or puncture) resistant (ie, not resilient). They can feel a bit slippery when wet. On that last point, the liners have a sculpted, jagged surface to improve "grip" and, like the tire tread, they have a groove pattern that tends to wick moisture away from the pedal area. I have not experienced any spots or sun. disappears with these liners. In my case, the earbuds are exposed to sand, dirt, spilled coffee, and shoes soiled with grease- or oil-based products. Despite all these abuses, the liners did their job of protecting the interior of my car. In short, I am very happy with the quality and performance of WeatherTech products. Referring to the specific front floor part number 448151, WeatherTech lists this part number as applicable to the 2017 Ford Edge. However, the Revain website says this number does NOT apply to the current 2017 Ford Edge. But that's actually not true, as WeatherTech points out on their website, part number 448151 is the correct installation for the current Ford Edge (in black). Also, the picture that Revain shows for flooring part number 448151 is incorrect. In particular, the driver's side panel shown does not resemble the actual 2017 Ford Edge floor panel (assuming it can be a generic image). All in all, if you're buying these fairings for a 2017 Ford Edge you can order part number 448151 through Revain and be assured of a perfect fit (note I'm on a Titanium trim level). However, before ordering, ALWAYS check the WeatherTech website for the correct part number to ensure compatibility (and color choices) with your specific vehicle model. The only thing I can say about WeatherTech floors is that they are a little pricey and don't offer any significant benefits. Discount on these items. But on the flip side, buying quality always comes at a premium, and at least they're made in the USA.
