This definitely provides very bright light where you need it. It's pretty easy to place on a car. The on/off button is easy to touch. For example, it doesn't click or press; You just touch it. I found the power cord was too short. I had to get an extension for that. Most people will like a power button that is easily accessible somewhere on their computer; This leaves only 4 feet of cord from the button to the outlet. If your socket is close to your car, no problem. If, like me, it's further, you need an extension for it.
