Okay, let's get started. Rice proteins are not very tasty. BUT . There are tradeoffs when you must avoid whey. That being said, I've tried MANY products and spent a lot of money - and I'm glad I stumbled across this one. I tried SunWarrior Rice Protein and found it really disgusting in comparison. This is the best rice protein in my experience and the price is MUCH better. The taste is typical "rice protein" - and I've forgone all the fancy flavors (e.g. fake, evil vanilla) and opted for the "do it yourself" method. I use any plain protein powders (e.g. rice, hemp, peas) and then add fresh/frozen fruit - raw cocoa powder and some natural sweeteners to taste - and the result is pretty good. Most importantly, I know exactly what the hell is inside. and no need to research weird ingredient lists. a bit more work - but you get - what you put into it. and it actually only takes 1-2 minutes. but after losing more than 130 pounds. I realized that convenience is our main enemy.
