Youth size is huge. Way too big for my 12 year old.
Sleeves come past the elbow which caused movement restrictions. I cut the sleeves off as we bought this more for front and back padding while playing hockey and it will work. Ended up being so large that we put it over his shoulder pads which made it workable. I understand I'm using this for something it's not designed for, but if I had bought this for paintball it would not be usable for a youth. They should call the size Junior.
- My son loves this for his airsoft wars with friends. Durable and comfortable.
- The chest protector may not be suitable for all types of sports, as it is specifically designed for paintball and airsoft
