I don't usually like coasters, but I love them! We've used a variety of coasters over the years (hardboard, cheaper cork, more expensive metal-backed cork) but none seem to hold up. Cardboard did not absorb condensate and did not last long. Cork was absorbent, crumbled first. And metal-based cork worked well for a while, but the cork lagged behind the metal after condensation caused them to warp. It was such a wonderful find! They seemed a bit pricey for coasters but they were worth it! They fit so well and look just as good as the day I bought them. They soak up so much they're great for my coffee table. Was glad to see they looked exactly like the pictures. Excellent purchase!
