Review on Calphalon CKCLWF1 Intellicrisp Waffle Maker: Perfectly Crispy Waffles in Dark Stainless Steel by Daniel Aboubakar

UPDATE: We've had this kettle for about a year now and it only works sporadically. We're having trouble turning on. The screen backlight doesn't always turn on when the knob is turned, so it doesn't get hot. We love how it cooks when it works and that it's ceramic, but our last waffle maker lasted 8 years with almost daily use. It stinks. OLD REVIEW: We returned 4 waffle makers before deciding on this one. Thank god it went on sale for $62. However, it costs $100 after use. I will definitely buy this again. The ceramic surface is beautiful, we have been using it daily for several months and it makes beautiful waffles every time. It features a large digital screen that lets you know when it's preheated and ready to cook, and large numbers that count down as you cook. I love that there is a slight beep when it's ready to cook and again when it's cooking. So when I'm busy elsewhere, I'm reminded to sort it. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this waffle maker.
