I wanted an easel for painting at home and it works very well. It comes in a durable nylon pouch for easy storage and portability. I had trouble getting it back into the case as it is quite tight there. You have to fold everything just right for it to get in - the zipper is only half open so everything needs to be folded perfectly. The easel itself is very light and easy to tip over. I use it on a table and can't complain, although the rubber feet prevent it from tipping over. The hook is really strong and it will be good to hold something heavy to make it heavier. It is very light and easy to transport. I have to say it seems pretty solid so far despite being so light. I had no problem adjusting the easel to different heights. Sometimes I prefer to stand and draw, so I'll move that up. All posts slide easily and stay in place after adjustment. However, the hand roller is pretty useless. He moves the bar so slowly that it's easier to lift it yourself. The canvas holders are also adjustable which would be great if you have different sized canvases. It's not me, I just adjusted them once and called it a day.
