I've bought original red and blue joysticks many times and they always develop thumb drag. I didn't want to spend $70 on another pair so I decided to try these. For half the price, you can get joycons that look better and work just as well. I've only had them for a few weeks but no complaints so far. I play at least an hour every day and haven't noticed any lag or lag so far. Just get them.
