This screen is thinner than the original iPad screen.

First of all I would like to say that this screen was well packaged and included the necessary tools to replace the screen of my iPad 8. When handling the screen, I noticed that it is much thinner than the original iPad screen. I wasn't particularly concerned about that at the time, so I set about installing the screen. If you follow the simple YouTube tutorials, this should be an easy fix. When trying to close the device, I pressed firmly on the edges to ensure the screen was aligned and snug against the frame, but unfortunately it broke in the process. The screen itself is durable, but it's easy to break if you use too much force. Maybe I wasn't so careful, but it's definitely a thinner display than the one originally on the iPad.
