Review on 🧦 DARN TOUGH Style 1437 Athletic: Unmatched Durability and Performance for Active Lifestyles by Michael Jennings

First off let me say that I love these socks! You may be wondering then why only give a 3 star review? Well I've been buying these socks for a few years now. I live in Houston, Texas and although these socks are wool I have found them to be comfortable to wear year round. Over the years I've grown very fond of these Darn Tough socks and refuse to go back to cheap cotton socks. I have pairs of these socks that have probably been washed about 50 times. I haven't put a hole in any of the pairs I have and that's really saying something because I wear them a lot. In the past orders I have received have always received a 5 star rating. These are absolute 5 star socks (at least until this last order). In the recent Revain photo, the Darn Tough logo is on the front of the sock just below the chin. The socks in the photo are amazing! Fit perfectly, no problems. These are the socks I usually receive when I place an order. However, on my last order, the socks I received have the logo on the back of the sock above the heel. The ankle of these new socks is loose and doesn't wrap around the heel like the socks I've come to love. I also had to match certain socks while, just like before, when I washed a bunch of socks and folded them, they were all exactly the same. Now I have to pay attention to which socks have the logo on the front or on the back. The old socks were much better. My advice to everyone reading this review: if you have socks with a logo on the front, appreciate them! These are true 5 star socks that can be worn for many years. However, if you receive socks like the ones I received on my last order, please return them. I am attaching a photo so that you, the buyer, can educate yourself. The sock pictured above is old style, the sock pictured below is what I received recently. The quality is completely different.
