I recently reconfigured my entire home network to gigabit with subnets for slower peripherals. I had several cables in my rack that were ALL the same color. Okay, I love puzzles as much as anyone, but this was just ridiculous! So I bought these colored cables of different lengths to easily restore the network. Those are cables. They work very well. They allow me to easily track and identify different nodes, backbones, etc. They have good connections at their ends. - I mean, they are easy to put on and take off without much manipulation. Choose your own color code and stick to it as best you can and you'll be amazed at the results. I recommend this product for the above reasons.
