I had to replace the last adapter I tried because it died after about 10 uses (and is no longer in Revain). The package I received was generic and I was a little concerned that it wasn't what I paid for. Two adapters were also included, although I was only expecting one. I tried using both but they didn't work and got very hot. I don't think they are USB 3.0 (as advertised). I also needed them with my two day Prime delivery but the "Prime" option was a week later. After waiting, they didn't even work. I decided to buy an adapter from Apple's website and it was delivered the next day. I wish I had done this from the start, but you can learn from my mistakes. Don't waste your money or time with products that you simply have to return.
