So, I'm 5'11" and older. I've been sleeping in this bed for a week now. I really liked the idea of a zoned mattress, so I was dying to try this. It gives you different degrees of softness and firmness in different areas of the bed. I think it's because the manufacturer undercuts memory foam. When you lie on it, the bed is softer when you lie on it Lying on your side but when you are on your back or stomach it's hard It works as advertised I believe they achieve this by cutting the memory foam differently in different parts of the bed Super soft memory foam Remembered me to one of those old kids mattresses you can press on it and it squishes this is a pretty good mattress if you want to do a glass of wine/water test to to see if it bothers your partner. My partner can sleep when I wake up and get up. I sleep on my side and love a soft mattress so I really like it. It's advertised as being firmer when lying on your back, which I think is true. I personally don't like it very hard, but that makes it good for couples. You can still sleep well on your side in softness, but if you need a bed with firm support, don't fall into it. I'd say it's more stiff than soft, but it's definitely soft and comfortable. NO hard mattress. Definitely 100 times better than the traditional pen box. I am very happy with this bed. This is definitely the most modern/upgraded bed I've ever had. I had soft-sided waterbeds, traditional pillow top mattresses, and Casper. In my opinion it is much softer than Casper and much more durable than a traditional soft pillow. I think the coolest part is that 2 different types of people can sleep on it. I personally don't like firm support so I sleep on my side, on the edge, but my partner likes firmness and loves it a lot. The 10-year guarantee is also great. I don't understand how this bed can ever "break" but it's nice that they stand by their product. The value for money is good. We have Casper and I definitely like him better. It's cheaper than what we paid for this bed. It empties the traditional box spring if you value comfort/support.
