I really liked this sturdy mount with a few small things to note

This sturdy mount. It is installed and working and I will not be returning it or buying another mount. Here's my take on what I disliked (a lot) and disliked (a little): Pros: This thing is heavy duty, there's nothing cheap about the metal (or finish) that makes up the shackle and lever. There are four serious lag screws for attaching to masonry or wood studs. The mount comes with lots of hardware and is clearly labeled. There are additional screws, washers and spacers of different sizes - it is difficult to imagine that one TV cannot be installed with different devices. - The instructions are way better than average for a "low tech" product like this. They are well written and clear. There are instructions for small, large, and custom TVs, and I had no problem understanding the instructions. I thought a self-adhesive bubble level would be useless, but it's easy to use and works well. The mounting template proved workable and was thick enough to be taped to the wall without tearing. Cons: After installing the bracket/bracket on the wall and the adjustable bracket on the back, people need to put the two together for the final installation. Well, it took us three of us to mount it on the wall about 4 feet off the ground. The TV must be held still to install the left and right, top and bottom screws/washers. Even with my arm outstretched, the back of the TV is cramped and I can't imagine doing this setup with just two people. The bracket allows you to adjust the vertical plane from -5 to 15 degrees. We wanted ours to be at 0 (parallel to the wall) - to keep it at 0 we had to tighten the spring loaded adjustment arm/bolt and corresponding top adjustment bolt VERY HARD. Otherwise, the weight of the TV (nothing out of the ordinary - a regular Samsung from Wal-Mart) kept tipping the mount forward. Basically we are completely satisfied.

Pros
  • TV & Video
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
