An overpriced drive that gets the job done but doesn't win a beauty pageant

Here's a clear statement on it: Does it work? Yes. Efficiently storing tons of CDs in both jewel cases and plastic sleeves. I chose the sleeves so I can accommodate my massive music collection. Is it cheaply made? Pretty much. All the complaints I've seen are pretty accurate. The drawers don't close very well - they need to be squeezed a little, but whatever. The faux wood looks cheap and the vinyl is peeling in some places. But the black bulletproof material is pretty good. If you're putting this in your living room as a display piece, you might want to consider something else. If it's tucked away on a shelf in your stash or basement, it works. May I recommend it? I guess so. I think it's overpriced by about $20 if you ask me, but unfortunately your options are limited if you want to neatly store hundreds of CDs. I have a giant 90's wooden CD rack in my basement that I'm looking to get rid of (hey, it was cool to display all your CDs back then), so it really might be better than what I have. . I wish they would have done it a little better or at least lowered the price but what can one do.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Weight
