This was the perfect solution for a friend who lives in a Nursing Home where people steal and steal his DVDs. His films come from their original packaging and are kept in jewel cases. In this case, he can wear the key around his neck and not worry that someone will reach into the box and take it away without the staff noticing. Will have to order another one soon as we continue to add to the library

First steps. The silver lining of the front cross had been torn off and was in the box. I had to glue it with gorilla glue and clips. Have already bought several hundred Vaultz DVD softcases/sleeves. All four drawers are about half filled with CDs and DVDs. The drawers slide out with difficulty, the whole block slides towards you. One of the drawers is really stuck and you have to hold the device with one hand while pulling hard on the stuck drawer. Ridiculous.

Each video I complete is assigned a number and catalog. When I have about two hours of HD footage, I burn it all together onto a Blu-ray "M" disc (discs made of stone and built to last for hundreds of years) and keep it in a Vaultz single-drawer filing cabinet. They're a great backup for the video work that excites me the most. These files are kept separate from other copies for security reasons. Sturdy cabinets that protect valuable (for me) material perfectly.

I bought these because I buy a lot of UK series on DVD that I want to keep and either watch again or rent. With over 2,000 DVDs, this is the best way to store them in paper sleeves, also made by Vaultz so my house doesn't look like a Blockbuster rental. I also think the discs stay clean because when I opened some of my DVD boxes to take them out there was a dusty foil inside some of the DVD boxes. I think paper sleeves in limited edition boxes work best.

So far I have 3 pieces! 1 1/2 for Movies, 1/2 for TV and 1 for Anime, Music, Games and more. I only have about 700 films at the moment, so of course I can't keep them in cases because that would take up too much space. It helps me keep everything organized and portable (although they can get REALLY heavy when full!). Sometimes the fabric on the drawers can come loose after prolonged use and I have to use super glue or they are difficult to slide. in. And also the metal parts try to fall off…

Conclusion: This is a good product and I would buy it again. I wanted to buy a CD storage cabinet that would be durable, functional, and fit my needs with the amount of storage space available. I first tried one of the others offered on Revain. When it arrived it was a poorly finished piece of wood from China. It got dirty quickly and looked like it would break easily etc so I sent it back. Here's a clear statement on it: Does it work? Yes. Efficiently storing tons of CDs in both jewel cases and plastic sleeves. I chose the sleeves so I can accommodate my massive music collection. Is it cheaply made? Pretty much. All the complaints I've seen are pretty accurate. The drawers don't close very well - they need to be squeezed a little, but whatever. I have two of the two CD trays and love them so I expected nothing less from a four tray system which was a mistake. Drawers get stuck when I try to slide them back into the closet and I try to slide them back 3 or 4 times before they line up. Update: 10/11/16 The folks at Vaultz have contacted me and said the build quality has been improved and they have replaced 2 of my units. I just received them and agree that the build quality has really improved. Drawers now fully open and close without much resistance. The clasp is high quality and the part of the clasp that is inside the case is covered with felt like on older devices. The handles are horizontal and the body looks more square.
