Update: 10/11/16 The folks at Vaultz have contacted me and said the build quality has been improved and they have replaced 2 of my units. I just received them and agree that the build quality has really improved. Drawers now fully open and close without much resistance. The clasp is high quality and the part of the clasp that is inside the case is covered with felt like on older devices. The handles are horizontal and the body looks more square. One of the two wobbles a bit (I think it's not quite flat, I'll find a wrench to fix that) but the other case is pretty solid. Overall, this justifies the upgrade in my rating, as the build quality is now generally acceptable. Also happy with their customer support. First feedback: I'm not sure what just happened. I ordered one of these in March and it was great. Good build quality. I felt solid. And everything came and worked as it should. I filled it out and ordered a second one which I received today. and it's terrible! The box is not exactly square, the sides are crooked and the length is wrong, so there is a big gap between the box frame and the drawer. The drawer doesn't even slide very well and there used to be a felt on the inside covering the locking mechanism so you don't damage your drives. and that too is over. The quality and workmanship of the lock also appear to be significantly cheaper on the second box than on the first. What happened? How can a product go so bad in 6 months? I contacted Vault about the build quality. I will update this review if they can provide a satisfactory explanation and conclusion on this. I was so happy with my first box that I am very disappointed with the new one. Unbelievable!
