This basket replaces a mesh laundry basket that has fallen apart. I'm guessing this is a folding option with more verticality than my previous basket, which makes more sense. The canvas material appears to be of good quality. The biggest problem I see are the handles which can fray at the edges due to the lack of additional fabric reinforcement. However, they are low enough on the basket that the handles themselves don't go anywhere. Finally, I understand that Rubbermaid only lends its brand name to this product made by a random factory, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that a brand I respect doesn't deserve my bias in purchasing a product.
