If you're not on the PGA Tour, why play with new balls?
The hobbyist really has no reason to buy new balls. I've never noticed the slightest difference when playing with a new ball, although I get more upset when a new ball is lost. Instead of going through all that, buying is the way to go. They are in excellent condition and probably cost three times or less than buying new balls for every round you play. I will never use new balls again.
