I actually have two of these. Both work great. I think the first one I bought for my old laptop doesn't have a built in SDHC card reader. I had to take an adapter. have one of these Worked so well on the go that I bought one for my desktop at home. Although the desktop has a built-in SDHC card reader, I use it often because it's easier to insert and remove cards than with the desktop's built-in card reader. The only complaint I have is that they don't read the newer sdhx cards I currently own. Hopefully a newer version that reads SDXC cards will come out soon.
