Review on Tent extreme double Tramp PEAK 2 V2, green by Gabi Konieczna ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

It was bought in addition to an 8-year-old already camping Bell 3 just for hiking with hiking elements. The quality is about the same as the old one, protruding threads are easily removed. The quality of the awning material feels higher than the old one with the same parameters. At night, when one guy of the vestibule was torn off, in the dark he pierced the corner of the skirt with a peg, it turned out only by driving in with a weighty stone (I was still surprised that it was so hard in the ground). Separately, we were pleased with the reflective braces and the same loops on the pegs (the knots should be immediately tied up normally). In the rain, putting up a tent, in which the inner tent is first attached to the arcs with a mesh instead of a ceiling, and then an awning, if you don’t want to sleep in dampness, is not the easiest task, but it can be solved if you put it together even in the wind. A wish to the developers - to think about it, for example, it would be possible to first fasten the arches from the inside to the awning in the corners and on the Velcro, and then fasten the inner one. Those who wish to work with a hacksaw for cutting the transverse upper arc - there on the awning, at the attachment point - on both sides of the Velcro (Velcro). On the one hand, insert the arc into the groove of the awning, and on the other hand, it is perfectly fastened with Velcro.

Pros
  • This summer, she withstood a wild downpour on Lake Baikal and a gale there, and then she survived the same wind near Plosky Tolbachik in Kamchatka, while we went to it. Once again I was convinced that the tent should be only with a skirt. There are 2 vestibules and 2 exits. A pair of 80-liter backpacks takes up half the vestibule, there is enough space. Separately, I was pleased with the number of pockets and a mesh shelf under the ceiling. 2 inflatable mats 60 cm wide fit almost back to back.
Cons
  • Carry cobblestones for attaching pegs on loose soil and pressing down the skirt so that it doesn’t blow away with the tent, but this is not her problem :) Now, probably, I would buy a three-seater, the difference in weight is not very big, but the comfort, in order to spread out things nearby when parking for more than one night, is a little more.
