Good ventilation

I've been using this stand for about 4 months. I bought it because I zoomed in so hard my neck went numb. When I checked reviews of these stands, most reviews stated that the stands are poorly adjustable because they tend to be stiff. You want the stand to be rigid so it doesn't move when you're typing. This stand is stiff, but I think it could be lighter than some of the more expensive stands I've considered. I wasn't comfortable typing with my hands raised, so I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse for the top of my desk. I found this setup worked well for me. The selling point that convinced me to buy this stand is that it has many holes to ventilate my laptop to keep it from overheating. It's heavy, but not so heavy that I have trouble moving. It was in the mid-range price range of the stands I looked at, which ranged from $30 to $130. I think it was a good buy for the $75 or so I spent on it. I can stand and type with my arm outstretched, but I'm only 5ft 2in tall. I'm not sure how it would work for a larger person. I have another larger elevating desk that I use when I need to stand up. I'm not sure I would recommend this particular stand to people who want to stand while working on a laptop. I feel like it's not safe to type on my laptop with my arm fully extended. But if you're going to sit and be hunched over a laptop for an extended period of time, I recommend this stand. It also doesn't take up much of my desk space and actually gets my laptop out of the way, giving me more real estate on my desk.
