A while back I got a Yeti 30-oz, but the lid that came with it was a problem from the start. Somewhere along the way this lid also cracked, it was NEVER attached securely and there wasn't room in it to use a straw. I'm glad I did. This case fits much better than the original; leaves straw; and has an off slider which was missing in my original. I don't know if this is the original Yeti cover and I don't care. It works and it's strong and that's all that matters to me. Given that the mug itself is made like a tank, if this lid holds up well I think it will be worth the investment.
