I love the look of these shoes. My son is a solid size 10 for all of his shoes and they are a bit large in length and at the ankle. He still wears them around the house or when he doesn't go far. You are too uncomfortable for significant walking. The leather is thick and tough, he hopes it rubs more and softens, but feels like it's going to last a long time. Part of the problem is that he wears them with no socks, making them look bigger and stiffer. If I were to order them again for him I would order half a size down, but I can't say that solves my problems. Update: After trying these shoes out for a few weeks BC we both liked the look, he's too uncomfortable with them. Doesn't soften the skin, they're too big, and they look horrible with socks on.
