My mom and dad are avid Bunn users. They've probably been using Bunn coffee makers for over 30 years, and as soon as their coffee maker breaks, they buy a brand new one. We also have Keurig and with him and Bunn it just takes up a lot of counter space. I saw this and thought it would be ideal to get rid of both and have an all in one machine. I have yet to get my parents to let us get rid of the rabbit but for now I'm really impressed with this car! It's a bit overwhelming when you first pick it up and see all the different pieces and details that you can customize, but once you read the quick start guide you'll be up and running with ease. I like that it doesn't take long. a whole lot of space, all pretty compact. There are about 10 different size options that can be made from a 1 cup to a full 12 cup carafe, and you can make in-between sizes like 1/2 cup or 3/4 carafe and everything in between. It has 3 different brewing options. - Classic - rich - and iced. So far we have used Classic and Ice. I don't understand how ice works, but it's like magic. You fill your cup with ice, and when the coffee is brewed over it, it gets cold. The ice barely melts and the coffee is ice cold! It's magical and it's awesome. I complicate my homemade iced coffee game in the simplest possible way. It has two fun things: a cup space that's measured from the side so you don't lose it, and a piece that folds under the coffee maker so you can put a cup or glass on top. It is very easy to switch the machine from ground to cup with an adapter. The default is kcups and you just pick up the adapter. When you want to use the base, just pull and pull out the adapter and there is a piece for the base underneath. You slide the metal cover to go over the bases and you're done. The buttons are easy to use, you press the brew type, turn the dial to the size you want and press the button and that's it. The water carafe on the side is sized so you know how much to add. I'm really impressed with the simplicity and the little things I wouldn't have thought of like the piece that slides to close or open the drip hole. . I'm hoping that with a little help we can get rid of our basic coffee pot and adjust to just using this one.
