Lasted 10 years and is quiet

I've had this humidifier for 10 years, when I had my first child it recently broke due to water getting inside the unit. I was lucky to find the same again. To be honest I never put it on the shelf, it was always on the floor and worked great. I don't think it's safe for everyone to inhale essential oils, so it doesn't matter that you can't use essential oils with this device. I bought another humidifier but it started making loud noises and waking up the baby so I returned it. From my experience using it for 10 years it works great, very quiet and no light. I definitely recommend it.
