Review on Effortless Control: Westinghouse Lighting 7787500 Wireless Ceiling Fan and Light Wall Control by James Shavers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It worked once and only once.

I wanted to use this as a replacement transmitter for an existing fan that already had a transmitter and receiver. The buttons of the old transmitter were missing. I connected the new transmitter (leaving the old receiver in the fan). Set the appropriate codes. I pressed the "Turn on light" button. The little red light on the transmitter blinked and the fan light came on. Great success! However, this is the last time it worked. The little red light never came on again and apparently the RF signal stopped being transmitted. Looks like the switch broke the circuit the first time the button was pressed. (The old handheld remote still works, so the old receiver in the fan is still good.) My return window has expired, so no joy.
