Bad USB 3.0 speed and not suitable for HDD and DAW

I want everyone to know that plugable support is very good, although I had problems with this device and they helped me, the best Find solution to my problem by allowing me to return the product. I am planning to buy a real high end TB3 docking station from them to replace this product. I ran lengthy data transfer tests using the included passive TB3 cable and the 6ft active TB3 cable. USB 3.0 hard drive connected directly to laptop USB 3.0 port = 200MB/s USB 3.0 hard drive connected to docking station with included cable TB3 = 160MB/s USB 3.0 hard drive connected to docking station with active cable TB3 Cablematters 6ft = 35MB/s (mainly USB2 speed) At first I thought it was a faulty active TB3 cable so I asked Cablematters to send me a new one but I got the exact same results. This also happened when I tested the included cable with native USB 3.0 connectors and found that USB 3.0 was slower on the dock anyway. So I've already passed the return date. Everything else works as intended. If USB 3.0 speeds were up to spec, this would be my favorite accessory. I know 1 star is hard but I was really hoping to use my laptop in bed with all my hard drives and accessories docked and only one cable coming out of my laptop. At the speed I'm getting, it's not worth it. Another issue is that I just noticed that my DAW (Professional Instruments) is not able to stream audio from external hard drives in a timely manner. I get huge CPU overhead and lots of dropouts. When drives are connected to my native USB 3.0 port, everything works great.
