Great screen, if you're a graphic artist like me it's definitely worth buying a TN panel: the colors are much better. Read the Galaxy Tech Review for more information and be sure to watch the video test as it shows the difference between TN and IPS panels. However, the video doesn't convey how great the screen looks. I was even able to see wider viewing angles than video, as capturing a computer screen with a camera really doesn't have the same effect as viewing it with your own eye. I had VERY few halos when I first installed the screen, but after just a day of use the halos were completely gone, which I'm very grateful for because it looked cheap. But to be honest I feel like using a 4K display, this screen looks so good. I also find that out of habit I adjust the angle of the screen, although I can actually leave it anywhere and still see it as clearly as if I were looking straight at the screen (if you know what I am). Very easy installation, watch the Galaxy Tech Review video again to see how to do it and remember to do it carefully, you don't want to break anything. I have also seen, as have many others, that the model listed is AU OPTRONICS B156HAN01.1. , but I wanted AU OPTRONICS B156HAN01.2 because I prefer matte to glossy. I saw there is another listing for AU OPTRONICS B156HAN01.2 but it costs $30 more. However, from the reviews I've seen, I read that some people received AU OPTRONICS B156HAN01.2 even though it was listed as AU OPTRONICS B156HAN01.1. I decided to take a chance and the model I received was actually AU OPTRONICS B156HAN01.2. Another note: while the IPS panel offers better color reproduction and great viewing angles, its refresh rate isn't as fast as TN panels. So if you want a nicer gaming screen, don't buy it. You can buy a "fast" IPS panel, which isn't as good at color reproduction as true IPS and not as fast as a TN panel, but it's a good place to put it. However, I played games on it to try it out. I've played League of Legends on max settings and they've held up really well. There was definitely a noticeable lag in terms of screen refresh. It was very small but because I was looking for it I saw it (if that makes sense). By the way, the laptop I used was the same model as the Galaxy Tech Review. Seriously watch/read it if you want to know more.
