I received this replacement charger for my Dell 15R 5537 laptop and the components match. Everything looks good at the moment, the charger works. If necessary I will write an update if the charger fails in the future. UPDATE (April 2021): What a BUG and disappointment. At first I was thrilled because it worked and everything was great. However, after about two months the charger failed and started interfering with my laptop. The main problem is my touchpad: it flickers and acts up, making it impossible to click anything on the web and desktop without interrupting your work. The FLIKING and JUMPING CURSOR literally has a mind of its own. It's almost impossible to click anything precisely. I've started troubleshooting touchpad issues on my laptop. I spent about 8 hours troubleshooting, uninstalling drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling various drivers, updating my Microsoft Windows 10, searching online for solutions, watching YouTube videos and even contacting the Microsoft Assistant etc. Nothing helped. The same solutions provided by Microsoft Assistant were the same troubleshooting steps I had already followed. The wizard was sure that it would fix the touchpad flickering issue, but that is not the case. Finally I connected my wireless mouse and it worked. I also unplugged this faulty cable and plugged in my original Dell power cord which is worn out and fails to charge a Dell computer and the touchpad flickering has stopped. This power cord is clearly damaged and has a short lifespan. Somehow it doesn't last long. I would suggest buying an original power cord from the company for your laptop.
