I bought these flat balls to practice my intermittent swings indoors during the winter. I often pair it with my Zepp Swing Analyzer and stumble upon a blanket draped over my bench, and it makes a great indoor workout spot. They were so effective that now I can constantly scoop pennies off my rug. Of course I don't do this often as I like my irons to be dent free. The material from which these discs are made is very durable. I have 3000 hits at the moment and these flat spheres look the same as when opened. The material is quite strong and with a good racquet speed of 90mph they fly pretty hard. So I can't say that hitting them indoors with a blanket isn't the best idea, but the blanket will still stop them with no problem. This is only a problem if you make a mistake or hit something hard behind the covers. I would highly recommend them for working on your swing groove.
