Review on πŸ“± Universal and Adjustable Car Headrest Mount for iPad and Tablets - Vogel's TMS 1020 Rotating Mount by Brent Saake

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, but with some doubts

This is an extremely durable iPad mount that fits almost unobtrusively around the headrest of most cars. ), but that's part of what makes it durable. A black square piece of plastic opens up on one side of the mount, which you can turn a small silver switch to open the mount. It fits over the two headrest posts and then you close the bracket around the posts. The locking part is small and flat so that nothing protrudes and does not disturb the passenger sitting in front of the iPad holder. The mount itself is detachable, although it's a bit fiddly to remove (it kind of aggressively pops out when you press the two buttons on either side). However, if I can remove it, I can remove my iPad and press Daniel Tiger's play button from the front seat. The iPad is held by tension: A retractable claw (which can rotate to a horizontal or vertical position, allowing it to hold a TON of tablets) is attached to either side of the tablet. What I don't like: You can't tilt the iPad. It's confusing because it looks like the iPad is tilted from the pictures, but unless I'm missing something very obvious, mine isn't tilting. This is a good angle for my daughter to watch programs but I would like to be able to flip it.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Stupid
