This wired tracker is a cat's meow. I used it one afternoon to find 3 breaks in an old underground dog fence and to locate an underground 110 volt wire. Yes, it takes a little getting used to tracking yourself by sound, but then again, I opened the box and solved two problems in one day. Pay attention to the grounding. The directions could be better in this regard. Stick a metal rod (screwdriver) into the ground and attach a black wire to it. I've also noticed that moving the device as close as possible to the point of interest increases the signal strength. The instructions say nothing about charging the systems, and you find the lithium battery dead when the sound stops. Common sense things, but they should be addressed. Otherwise I love this tool.
