I really want to tell you which headphones I like the most first, but let's just move on to the different features I look for in headphones. If there's anything else you have questions about, let me know. Sound: Sound is definitely one of the first things that interests you, that's what I want to know when I look at in-ears or headphones. The Samsung Galaxy Buds were one of the first headphones I liked (I used to try the Jabra Elite 65t and I just didn't care). The sound is good and balanced, I would like a little more bass. But in general the headphones are excellent. Haylou GT1 Pro.WOW. My expectations of the Haylou GT1 Pro were very low. But then I unpacked it, connected it to my cell phone and was just amazed. This is the sound I was looking for in headphones, the bass suits me well and doesn't overwhelm the mids and highs. Samsung's mids and highs are a bit brighter, but not by much. The sound for Haylou GT1 Pros is perfect. Haylou GT1 Pro wins in sound. Fit: The key to headphones is finding the right cushion for each ear, it makes all the difference. Both kidneys feel great in the ears. Both are light and I can wear them for a while without pain. This is a tie in this category. Features: Battery Life: Samsung - Headphones last up to 6 hours and the case gives you an additional 7 hours of playtime. This gives you a total of 13 hours of play time with the Samsung Galaxy Buds. This is frankly disappointing. I would charge these headphones at least once or twice a week. Haylou GT1 Pro - The earbuds last 4 hours and the case gives you an additional 6 charges which is an additional 24 hours. This gives a total of about 28 hours of playtime. I've had these headphones for almost a week now and only charged them the first night I had them. The body of the GT1 Pro is not much larger than that of the Samsung. It seems to me that the GT1 Pro case is lighter. For me, Haylou GT1 Pro wins in terms of battery life. Touch sensor: Samsung and Haylou have a touch area, no need to press any physical button. Both work great and as they should. I found myself doing random touches when I took out the Haylous, but I don't really care. It's a draw for that. Call quality: It's close. Both sound good to me. I've asked others how I sound on calls and it's a bit mixed here. When I'm at home and just walking around the house, they hear me fine and I have a hard time distinguishing Samsung from Hilou. I only tried Haylou once in the car and we had a sleeping baby in the car. So I don't know if I lowered my voice a little, but because of the traffic noise it was difficult for her to understand me. But maybe I didn't speak very loudly because there was a sleeping child in the car. But I'm giving Samsung a small edge for one reason - the Galaxy Wear app. This app allows Samsung to send updates to the headphones and improve them over time. Using headphones with both headphones instead of one: Both allow you to use one or both headphones, and both let you choose which headphones to use. when using only one. I've found that Samsung does a little better when I want to go from two earbuds to one and then back to two. It could be easier to deal with. For me, the winner is the Haylou GT1 Pros. They have all the features I love in headphones and the sound is fantastic. I like the balance between bass and mids. Thanks to the case, the GT1 Pro also offers longer battery life. I carry a pair of headphones in my bag every day when I leave the house, and ever since I bought the Haylou GT1 Pro, I've reached for them through my Galaxy Buds. These headphones are nearly $100 cheaper than the Samsung Buds and could easily be as expensive, but they're not. You will not regret buying these headphones. I believe they will become your favorite headphones as they are for me.
