I have a cute and sassy red with little polka dots. It's adorable and it fits me - I'm a small petite Asian, 5'3' 111 lbs, a size 4 and as others have pointed out I think the size is for petite Asian women. The size is definitely small/medium. The laces are tightened to customize your fit. Although I have to say the laces are a lot higher, above the waist. Almost waist high in Empire style. I can handle it. My sleeves are short. Interestingly, since all American dresses have long sleeves, they should be 3/4 sleeves. But despite all that, it's still cute and worth taking on a trip to Israel (supposedly spring rains). And it folds compactly in my purse. I can roll it up to make the size even smaller. It weighs like nothing. Don't expect to use this jacket for warmth, only for rain protection. I rinsed it under the tap to make sure it was protected from the rain. So far it has shined very well. But heavy rains surprise me. But I'm not sure what I need as I'll face storms on my journey. This will serve me well, something compact to put in my purse in case it rains on my trip. This is definitely an improvement over disposable hiking ponchos. Nice.
