This phone has proven to be a great VoIP phone for my aging Gigaset A580IP phone base (which is currently unavailable). yes, the ones that were in the kit and the ones that cost twice as much work with the Gigaset information services. These services are free and sometimes don't work - I use them to get the weather forecast and that's not a top priority for me. receives calls, shows the caller ID, can send and receive the address book from other handsets connected to the base, has different ringtones, different display colors, excellent call quality in both directions. In our experience, when calls are top priority, this works great in our VOIP system.
