I've bought a variety of tripods over the years as an avid photographer. The last one I bought was about 5 years ago and it broke. I took a chance on this product as it looked solid and had the characteristics of some professional tripods. They cost $100. This product has a bubble level so you can make sure the tripod is level. The center shaft is detachable and converts into a monopod - which is great as sometimes I can't take some gear with me (e.g. when traveling). A monopod comes in handy when you need quick and steady shots. Finally, the tripod comes with a phone holder, all for a great price. The tripod is made of durable aluminum and is definitely comfortable to use. Also, this product is 70 inches tall (which again only comes with expensive tripods). Overall I would recommend this product for people who are price conscious but want a quality product with lots of features.
