I recently remodeled our master bathroom shower and tried to finish sealing the edges by hand. Since this turned out to be more difficult than I thought, I looked for a better alternative to achieve a smoother and more professional finish. After some searching I came across this set and really liked it! Using these tools instead of a finger makes a HUGE difference. Do yourself a favor and buy a kit for your next project!

That's Basically All You Need To Emboss. Everything is solid silicone and all the blue parts are pretty springy. The yellow spatula is a bit flimsy, but it does the job. It helps to have caps for caulking tubes, but I personally put a screw in the hole of open caulking tubes for storage. This creates an airtight seal while they don't. Although they are good as temporary caps.

I am so glad I bought this set. For the money I was expecting a flimsy thing. Each piece in this set is made of thick plastic and has a smooth finish. Everything you want to do in terms of sealing is included in this kit. I used it in our shower room with glass doors and ceramic tile walls so there are a lot of different finishes. I found 3 different parts that worked great. With this kit, my sealing project went quickly, smoothly, and turned out the best thing I've ever done.

The first thing we tried to use. it does not work. We use sealant every day. If you use different types and colors, you usually don't use a full tube every day. We saw the red caps, 4 per set, and thought they would work better than just using a piece of tape to seal the tip on the tube. Well, the caps are too small to fit any standard size gasket tube we buy or use. Useless. Other tools? So far we haven't figured out where any of them work well in every situation. Great little kit. In fact, I was a bit surprised by the quality. Gasketing and potting tools aren't just hard plastic, they actually flex a bit. This allows them to stick firmly to the tile or material you are working with. I have used them to seal my shower and they have worked great. Definitely a much cleaner and more professional finish. Much better than the finger method. I was pleasantly surprised with this set and would recommend it to anyone considering it.

This is a very good kit. Exactly what I needed. I don't see you need another embossing tool. I just received them today so can't confirm durability yet but they are obviously made from a very durable material. It's hard and tough, but soft like silicone. I truly believe that this purchase will be the last tool of this type that I will ever have to buy. All corners are clean and there is every corner you will ever need. First of all, what great value for money in the sense that I am the result of my work from amateur to could change professional! If I sealed before using my fingers as a finishing tool, the result was always a bit off. Tools allow you to make a stronger bead as it is not concave. Leaves a cleaner surface with little mess to clean up. Tilting the tool slightly will slide it along the vertical grout line so the roller doesn't sink into each of the grout lines.
