UPDATE (05/06): After a month of use I am pleased to report that this scale is still performing better than expected! Once fully charged, the scale can be used for a very long time. I've only plugged in and charged the scale once since I bought it! The only negative experience with the scale came when using the included cover. It seems that the lid is affecting the reading when the scale is turned on and increasing the displayed weight. However, putting shields on the scale before turning them on or taring them doesn't affect the weight and I find they help improve accuracy by preventing air movement. I don't use the top cover as there is no easy way to place it on the scale. before weighing the substance, and this does not appear to offer any additional protection against air flow.
