Review on Enhanced Blocker Tie Ring II: A Revolution in Horse Safety and Security by Richard Gilbert

Best buy for my young neurological horse

Best buy I've made for my horse. I have a horse with special needs. He is 3 years old, has a neurological condition and had surgery last summer which means he cannot have a neck injury. Since he is young and delicate, it was difficult to teach him any manners, how to tie, patience, etc. I cannot tie him like a normal horse. his. But it was almost impossible to deal with him even just taking care of him since I have no one to hold him. It saved a life. Before we knew the extent of his neck problems and I tried to teach him how to tie, he backed off from time to time and either jerked in panic or jerked at his halter which could have killed him now. But with the locking ring in his stall I can now tie him down without fear. If he starts pulling back or something the leash slips out with little effort and I have a very long rope to keep it from coming loose. And after a few weeks of use, he seems much more confident that he is not trapped, but also knows that he can easily free himself. So he's MUCH better at binding than pulling back. I've just bought a second rope and a second rope so we can progress to cross tying in one go and I'm glad I don't have to worry about him getting injured while I finally get to properly work with him. and without him being everywhere. By far the best investment in my little fella's business.
