This is my second purchase of SV3C cameras. These cameras are easy to install. However, unless you have a very long RS232 cable to connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network, only install it after configuring it with the cables provided. I also recommend that you purchase 12 volt power extension cords if you don't have outside outlets within 2 meters of the mounting point. The phone app works great. The PC software is clunky and some of the functions are unclear as to their purpose, but it has improved since I first bought the camera. The motion detector detects and records the alarm very well. The mic and speaker work great and the phone app allows me to access the camera from anywhere on my phone. And the night vision also has good clear images. I just wish there was a way to turn off the red glowing LEDs at night.
