This loom is quite simple and does what it is supposed to. However, the plasticine is a bit thin, which makes it difficult to use cotton loops. Cotton doesn't stretch as much as synthetics and once all the hinges were on the frame they buckled and it was very difficult to hold the hinges. If you are using cotton I would try to find a stronger frame with maybe longer teeth. The hook is also a flexible metal which again doesn't hold up well on cotton loops. But it's good and will probably work well with synthetic loops.
