I'm not a professional photographer. This review is written from the point of view of the complete amateur who thinks it's fun to dabble in from time to time, but that's about it. Pros: * Lots of gear for a very low price. * Sturdy stands * Folds up small enough and light enough. (considering the number of things that are here) Cons: * Comes with no instructions. It took a little fiddling to figure out how to assemble the frame to hold the backgrounds. In the end I'm pretty sure I did everything right and I think I did. backgrounds before you use them. For portrait photography (which this is for) when you have lots of direct light this is much less of an issue, but when you have strong overhead lighting the creases caused by the fabric itself or a breeze will show up a lot more. --> The fact that the fabric is muslin and needs to be ironed makes transport a little problematic as you have to fold the fabric back to move it. As mentioned, I'm a dilettante so I won't leave them on all the time which means the iron has to be taken out every time I want to use these backgrounds. That is a big problem. I'm thinking about rolling them into a long 2x4 or something so I can store them somewhere on the side but not crumple them up. Because one of the main things I wanted to do with it was to install a green screen behind my desk to use with zoom to make the artificial backgrounds look more natural. If you intend to do this, it won't work. It's not designed for that, so don't shoot stars.
