I just bought a camper trailer that came pre-installed with an integrated camera mount. It took my experience in electronics to connect the camera. I had to cut, solder, insulate the wires to connect them. When it was done it worked. We moved the camper around the yard. Everything checked. So we made our first trip. The image only disappeared on Main Street, 35 mph, but reappeared at the brake lights. 1 hour drive to interstate, photo was rare. On the interstate, it often happened that a trailer would drive past us if the trailer was made of metal and not fiberglass. Most of the time there is no signal. When I got home I emailed the company as instructed. They were exceptionally on site and sent us a stronger device as they promised when the signal wasn't strong enough (in the instructions). I put on a new device and drove the van. First the image froze, then rushed forward to catch up with the present. After a while it got a lot better and I was able to do my job. We want it for support, but mainly as a rearview mirror replacement. The product itself is ok but the quick response to emails and fast shipping of the best device was exceptional. This is not my first RV camera. It's better than the one I used a few years ago, over ten years ago. There are more expensive devices, much more expensive. It's not something I use except for small hikes, so it's good value for money. The first block would be good enough for the back of an RV or car without a trailer. I believe the distance from the camera to the monitor screen is 27ft and the signal is not enough when moving. I don't know why the signal degenerates when driving, but with the new one it works better when it warms up and works well at highway speeds.
