This material is way ahead of anything that can be used for oil production. It has a fresh, minty flavor but isn't overly artificial like most mouthwashes. Because of its improved ingredients, you can rinse your mouth out in just a minute (I'm currently doing three) instead of the 10-20 recommended by other products or the web when using your own oil. My mouth feels very fresh when I'm done. Yes, it's a bit messy; If you don't keep dish soap in the bathroom, the cup or spoon you use for it will remain greasy and black, even if you rinse it out with very hot water. However, this is a secondary consideration. This oil is wonderful and makes it affordable for people who don't have the time or stomach to sit down with a sip of coconut oil for twenty minutes a day.
