I bought this set to put my motorhome under a canopy. Great lights! fun to play. Very bright. If necessary, they can be darkened. I haven't figured out the user part, but it's really good at night. I also love that I don't have to mount lights when camping. I just have to turn them on. Like what other users have said about how difficult it is to stay in the saddle, it is true. Although the 3M adhesive itself is good. The waterproof protective cover is actually very difficult to glue. The ends come loose first, and the weight of the lights pulls the rest down. If you can tape the ends together so they don't peel off, that seems to work for now. I bought a stronger double sided tape from 3M and it's still the same. I taped the ends where I wasn't using the protective sleeve to attach to the RV. How long that lasts remains to be seen. I gave it 3 stars because the most important part of the mounting system failed. And that is the main reason why I bought this set. So I don't have to put them on and take them off every time I go camping. If they could find a case that actually lasts I would easily give it 5 stars.
