Review on πŸƒ Emergency Blankets Designed for Marathons by Verkstar by Jesse Francilme

Ideal for hiking or transporting in the car

They are beautifully packaged in a semi-rigid case containing 4 rolled blankets, each in its own nylon drawstring bag for repacking after use. it's a bit heavy and I like to travel light. Blanket pouches each weigh about 67g (about 2.5 oz) so they fit nicely in a backpack, but carrying 4 blankets weighs about 345g (about 12 oz) so we don't use a case and put one blanket in each backpack and one for each car. We travel from Arizona to Colorado and back, and we never know if we'll get caught in a snow storm in New Mexico or Colorado, so blankets are great for emergency storage. Overall they are very well made and you get a free pouch with a carabiner that weighs just 85g (3oz) without covers. I opened one and took it outside. It was 45 degrees so not too cold but it certainly keeps me warm and it was a sunless night. Folding it back to put it back in your pocket is a little tricky and like many things that are factory folded it's not easy to return to the original size but I did it to make it possible is. And not that they're cheap, but at around $4.50 a blanket, you can forget about it and just buy a new one; This doesn't mean you need one of these a week. I hope you never need it.
