Review on 🚴 High-performance SUNLITE Side Pull Brakes - Steel, Silver (61-79mm Reach) - Pair by Thomas Unruh

Excellent value for money. It took 5 minutes to install on my Electra Amsterdam. Other reviews point to pad alignment issues (even before sanding?!) which I would attribute to user error. If one side doesn't run smoothly, you usually have to loosen the center stop screw and adjust the brakes from there. After that, adjust the cable tension as needed. Assuming both bolt holes are centered, the brakes will act evenly. I gave the product 1 star because the arms that come with it have significant play from the factory and are much shorter than expected (on a motorcycle we would call those short arms). There's also no cable adjustment on the lever itself, which would be nice to see.
