They deliver truly amazing sound quality at such a low price. The bass is boosted, but not so much that it sounds overwhelming. The looks and build quality are excellent, which is no surprise from Sony. I should point out that while these are NOT noise-cancelling headphones, the acoustic isolation of the shells makes the headphones feel more like headphones. External audio is so muffled that I personally find it odd to use the built-in mic to make calls because I can't hear myself as usual. When listening to music, however, this is a great result, because the music really comes to life with such muffled outside noise. I heard detail lost in my cheap headphones.
